WELCOME! We are a community of Lutheran Christians
called and gathered by God in Christ. Here joyfully God's Word is
proclaimed and the Sacraments administered. We serve in the northeast corner of
Winnipeg: most of our members live in East and North Kildonan, Elmwood, and
Transcona. We are of all ages and stages of life: children, youth, adults,
seniors, single, married, in transition... We offer ministries
that are both age- and interest-specific and that cross
generations and interests. We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran
Church in Canada, with 200,000 members in 600 congregations across the
country.

We see these as our congregation's particular
gifts:
- Music: enriches our life and worship; children's, youth, adult,
contemporary choirs; people interested and gifted in music have many
opportunities.
- Vibrant Worship: variety, multi-sensory, many people involved in
leadership and supportive roles.
- Hospitality: many of our newer members comment on the welcome they
received here.
- Children's and Youth Ministry: Sunday School, Youth Class, Youth
Group, Confirmation, Vacation Bible School, kid-friendly worship,
intergenerational emphasis.
- A Sense of Mission: evangelical and service outreach; missionary
sponsorship; support and participation in Lutheran Urban Ministries, Global
Hunger and Development Appeal, Canadian Lutheran World Relief, Habitat for
Humanity.
